I think he's coming to South Bend to camp in June. Not 100% sure but I got multiple hits on behind 247 paywall stories from various authors.

This guy's completely undervalued by the networks.

In 8 G covid Jr. season had 44 rec ... 872 yds and 13 total TD's.

Has OV's set up for Duke, Lville & Wake. Plans to commit by end of summer.

Forgot to add, he's swapped follows with Tommy, Del, Taylor and all of the support staff. And not just recently.

So at some level they've been in contact for quite some time.

Bump this as I didn’t realize how big of a season he’s having and his name is coming up as a possible target. He committed to Wake Forest in Early September. But seems to be in communication with other schools.

I’d gladly take him with one of two spots at WR. Merriweather at W, Williams at Z/slot, and Grimes at X. Looks good to me.

Can understand why the staff wanted a speed guy like Everhart but purely as a prospect I'm more of a fan of Grimes. Might not be elite at any one skill or have Amorion's upside but just seems like a really solid all around player. Good route runner, strong hands, high-points the ball, & a smooth runner.

Follows a bunch of our guys including Angeli. Looks like UNC, Louisville, & NC State are on him as well.

People have said that we want to take 4 receivers this class, so I would assume no. The depth chart is looking pretty rough with the transfers and potential departures.

ND needs to land a speed guy with football ability who can take the top off the defense. when ND had fuller it scared defenses to death that he would run past them and it took the safeties out of the box and allowed ND to pound teams with the running game, ND needs to get that back.

I have only watched to videos of him. I know it;s hard to see in those two but he seems like he reliable. I don't know if he will run away from a lot of college DB's but he has good moves off the line and had very good hands.

Dave Clawson has done a pretty good job of identifying receiver talent so I'll trust his evaluation here. Kid has also performed above his rankings in camps it seems.

I don't know if we should be basing every WR recruits ability or whether they should be a take, based on that of Fuller.

Will Fuller is one of the best ND WR's of all time for a reason. We have a depth chart that is in desperate need of filling. We will have signed 4 top 100ish WR's over 2 cycles. We have the top end talent.

We need to find some guys that fill in the cracks so to speak. Guys like Avery Davis, TJ Jones, Robby Toma, Chris Brown, Chris Finke, etc. have all played valuable roles. I think Grimes can be good enough to play a valuable role for this team.

I don't know what some are seeing here, but this kid clearly has a good amount of upside. You see the length and impressive stride at work. He's very fluid and makes some really nice catches.

Definitely a good take here. He's not quite Walker level impressive, but there is definitely a lot to work with.
