Yep. 2025.Anyway we can get Benmo Moore and Gray all on the field together? Asking for a friend
I’m almost certain they said he did within a few days after it was announced he was done.Did he already have surgery? Supposedly if you don't have surgery you can get relief as it'll partially heal in a matter of weeks, but it won't fully heal without surgery.
He was on the sidelines.Does he even travel or help with the team?
A few of us have had this surgery. He could have played on the torn labrum (probably did), but it does inhibit agility. Also going to ache like crazy all the time.Did he already have surgery? Word. Wasn't sure if he had the surgery or not. If not, I was going to say he might be able to play on it in the playoffs.A few of us have had this surgery. He could have played on the torn labrum (probably did), but it does inhibit agility. Also going to ache like crazy all the time.
He had surgery, though. He should be shooting to be a full go for OTAs. He can end his career if he comes back too fast.
Moore might be. Not sure Gray is. While he had a timely pick late, USC picked on him an awful lot.Yeah, I get that. I wish the injury wasn't what it was. I think he made the correct decision to have surgery, but I'm not an all-american, 1st rd draft pick on a team with a great chance (at the time) at making the playoff.
Moore might have just be better than an injured BenMo, too. Yes, I'm trying to start that rumor right now.
With as much he gets left on an island, Gray is going to lose reps against NFL level WRs. Combine that the fuckin work he puts in against the run. I think, if he gets beat, he gets beat.Moore might be. Not sure Gray is. While he had a timely pick late, USC picked on him an awful lot.
What they were asking him to do play after play was downright criminal. Basically running gassers up and down the field with no help. Consistently left on an island with no safety help and Riley would rotate a “fresh” WR to run deep against him. It was especially stupid not to give him any relief after his 100 yard pick 6.Grey has been pretty consistent minus 2 games including this one But he never stopped fighting.... our db's are put on islands a lot , it's going to happen
Great points! What they were asking him to do play after play was downright criminal. Basically running gassers up and down the field with no help. Another cornerback would have helped team immensely yesterday…but you know what happened there! What they were asking him to do play after play was downright criminal. Are you sure? I don't remember ND ever rotating their starting outside CBs.Another cornerback would have helped team immensely yesterday
Well as @IrishLax said, USC was intentionally running Gray downfield play after play. So yes, I think they probably would have given him a break at some point. Even just a quick reset after a bad drive would have been nice. Are you sure? I don't remember ND ever rotating their starting outside CBs.
Was there something wrong with Hobbs?Well as @IrishLax said, USC was intentionally running Gray downfield play after play. So yes, I think they probably would have given him a break at some point. Even just a quick reset after a bad drive would have been nice.
Gray is better than what he showed yesterday. It's ok to have a bad game, especially when you make the winning play at the end to make up for it.
CG had been nails all year. Even Saturday while he was picked on some and had some breakdowns, he made a couple really nice plays outside of the pick 6. For the first time all year against USC it looked like we had some confusion and miscommunication in the secondary too.Moore might be. Not sure Gray is. clark and watts each appeared at times to be out of position (confusion like you said)on a couple of their deeper passes...there was also some pick plays they were running as wellCG had been nails all year. True but Maiava was getting rid of the ball quick.DB play would have also been better Saturday if there was more pressure put on their QB.
