He & fellow visitor Tunmise Adeleye are two UR DT's that won't be for long. Both top of the board prospects that ND is on early. Oh how far they've come since 2015-2016 in regards to that. I really don't have much to b!tch about anymore.

Not really. He reported a 3.4 GPA at the time I made the profile. In the story, he made these comments:

“I’ve been told that if I perform highly this school year, then I have an offer,” Rubio told Irish Sports Daily. “I’ve worked my tail off to earn it. I love everything that Notre Dame is and Notre Dame is a special place.”

Rubio is not only balancing school and recruiting this spring, but also track as he competes in the shot put.

“I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a challenge balancing recruiting visits, track practice, competitions and maintaining high grades,” stated Rubio. “This semester was a game changer for me. Everything came into focus and I became highly motivated to succeed.”

I took it as... Do this work, get to this level and the offer is yours. Maybe that was over thinking it? Good chance he's ok on the foreign language.
