I don’t think enough has been said about how Penn State’s overall talent level has just gotten markedly worse under Campbell due to transfers and importing Iowa State players. They are around 20th in team talent now, below teams, like South Carolina, Florida State, Clemson, and Auburn.

Their 2027 recruiting class Is also ranked 20th, And it’s doubtful they have the money to make up for it in the portal. They are years from getting back to the level of talent and depth they had the last few years of Franklin.

if this was Notre Dame, I’d be severely depressed about what the next few years look like.
