We better flip flop with them next week after they lose to Oregon. If Penn St gets that draw I'm going punch my own balls
Zero % chance, they win they move up...they lose they move down. I bet they lose by 24+If Penn St gets that draw I'm going punch my own balls
With respect to Ohio State, it's hard to drop them very far relative to the teams behind them because they beat PSU and Indiana... those are two elite wins. In fact, I have a major issue with them being slotted behind Georgia at the moment, but the committee did that because of the upcoming championship games.I guess losing to Michigan and Oklahoma doesn’t matter anymore
Shouldn't we be excited to play Bama then instead of ASU?It's really interesting because Bama is just getting a pure pass based on "talent" and brand. No other team would get this much latitude for losing to Vandy and Oklahoma. They lost to 6-6 Oklahoma by 3 TDs lol....
Basically, there are two things from this past weekend warping the field:
1. Georgia escaping Georgia Tech on pure officiating malfeasance.
2. Clemson losing to South Carolina this past weekend at the buzzer.
If Clemson was rated at #11ish no one would be batting an eye here. Don't cry for Miami because they should be a 3-4 loss team... their defense is pure garbage.
Are we sure of that?Zero % chance, they win they move up...they lose they move down. I bet they lose by 24+
All ND had to do was not lose to NIU.If Penn St gets that draw I'm going punch my own balls
Not sure I follow, how are stats skewing the picture? Stats are stats
It is definitely not a zero chance that they stay where they are. Committee has them ahead of us for weeks. They won’t change it unless Penn St gets crushed. The point spread is 3.5. So a close game is the most likely resultZero % chance, they win they move up...they lose they move down. I bet they lose by 24+
Bama is very beatable this year, this isn’t a Saban team. Milroe is prone to mistakes and their running game isn’t great. The WR corps is also not up to recent standards. The D is OK but nothing crazy. The winter weather in SB will not be something they look forward to either.Shouldn't we be excited to play Bama then instead of ASU?
Don’t care. Not interested in playing them. They’re one of a handful of teams that can beat us with a talent stick regardless of how “vulnerable” they look. Anyone asking to play them is asking for heartbreak.Bama is very beatable this year, this isn’t a Saban team. Milroe is prone to mistakes and their running game isn’t great. That’s a tired argument. They killed everyone else and Penn St has looked awful. The committee is clearly looking past losses (bad ones at that) with certain teams. So why is the only unforgivable sin in the entire field the NIU game? All ND had to do was not lose to NIU.
I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped behind us with a loss, even a close loss. But I wouldn't expect them to drop, say, 5 spots or something like that. The idea that the Committee won't "punish" a conference championship game loser I think just means they won't drop really far, not that they won't drop at all.Penn state isn’t going to get punished unless they get blown out, which seems unlikely.
PSU’s best win Illinois would be an underdog against SC, Texas A&M, Louisville, and maybe Army. But they are ranked above Army, who is our only “ranked” win.
This committee just is so incompetent. Have no idea how to balance SOS with wins and losses.

I am at the same place. Here is how I think it will play out and for some reason I'm very confident. If UGA and PSU lose, ND is 5. If they split ND is 6 and if UGA and PSU both win...ND is 7
