You take away the loss, which I know is impossible now, we have dominated our schedule and our defense is national title caliber

idk, if the Texas A&m win loses it’s luster we have the worst resumé in the top 12. our 2 other best wins are: Louisville who shoulda beat us and we beat GT without haynes king and their best defensive player

our defense is elite, i think. (we haven’t played anybody with an offensive pulse besides louisville who outplayed us) and our offense is incredibly mid

With the continuous bad mouthing and hate from ESPN game day crew during this playoff talk, if I was in charge they would never come back to the university again.

We have enough people that can truly publish a story about how great the university is.

Not meaning to be a Debbie downer but does anyone really think this ND team would beat Texas/Georgia/OSU/Oregon? Much less Bama/Ole Piss? I’m all for ND but the team that has taken the field this year can’t even spell elite, nor great. The success against the low level of competition has gotten some people smoking something not legal in a lot of states

We’re going to beat them all if we get in.
It’s time.

One would (particularly a fan) have to believe they will cross that hurdle at some point.

I don’t think Ohio St nor Indiana will fall below us if this game will remain close. I do agree a SEC school could jump us with a big performance based on the fact that’s what ESPN wants

Have you watched these other teams play? There aren’t any dominant teams this year. Notre Dame can play with anyone and I look forward to watching them do it in the playoffs.

I don't, but this would probably be ND's best chance to do so. I don't think this ND team is all that great, but none of those teams are great.

Yes. We old ND fans believe no matter what.

i hope so, but rn the only justification for ND being ranked so high is the A&M win. and i think A&M loses at Auburn tonight and texas next week
Who is jumping us?

Alabama is currently being cleated by 5-5 Oklahoma. They're likely out.

Ole Miss just lost to effing Florida.

Georgia has 2 losses, but one of those is to Ole Miss, who just lost to Florida and Alabama, who again, is getting cleated by 5-5 Oklahoma.

Indiana just lost and has beaten nobody.

Miami lost to Georgia Tech, whom ND beat.

What the f*ck are we missing here?

People in Alabama are going to freak. Bama only put up 3 points on a 5-5 Sooners team?! What does this mean for the SEC playoff picture?
