Don't know if anyone cares about this anymore but I'm predicting Miami 38 ND 24.

I think we will struggle to stop Miami all game and our offense will move the ball but struggle to get in the end zone.

I picked ND by 3 TDs vs Stanford. We see how that worked out. On that note, ND by 13 Pts

I picked ND to win by 9-13 for fun. Maybe they muster up some pride and actually come out of the tunnel ready to play, coaches included. I think realistically, though, Miami punches them in the mouth with a steady diet of Yearby(175 rushing yards and 3 TD's) and Kaaya play action going deep(over/under 7 PI calls on us along with giving up 3 bombs for TD's).

After the bye week the team is rested and some good practices. 2 weeks to prepare for the offense. Coaches got to spend some good time with their groups some of the older guys step up and lead.

Or it's called logical thinking. Look at Miami's wins and look at the issues they are facing. Take that with a notre dame team with an extra week to prepare and a head coach with something to prove. I truly believe ND never feels threatened during this game, and that's not being a homer.

Miami is by every analytical system the best team we have played this season so far.

The extra week to prepare is a huge factor. Its not far fetched to think ND controls this game.

I've predicted ND wins in every poll thus far, expecting them to right the ship a bit at some point.

So, in order to reverse the juju, I have picked Miami to win by a soul-crushing 7-point margin.

We'll have the ball, down 7, with under 2 mins to play. We'll drive into the red zone with no problem, and then proceed to crap the bed on 3rd and 4th down.

Hoping for the best - an ND win in any way shape or form.

But expecting the worst and the worst I could pick was an ND loss by 28+.

Just based on my eyeball test (I have no stats or evidence to back it up) Miami looks to have too much speed for ND. From the games I have seen them play so far, I think their overall speed is going to give many Irish positions fits on Saturday. If it is rainy and sloppy, that might be mitigated just a bit, but I am not optimistic about this game. Maybe that is a good thing since I was optimistic in all the others. I don't know. Maybe not. Where am I?

The week off helps and we play well. But this team just does not know how to win and we again lose the lead late and thus lose the game. Hope they prove me wrong.
