If you haven't watched his film i’d check it out. Kind of reminds me of Noah Boykin, but more aggressive vs the run/screen. Pretty impressive film. I believe Sinclair has thrown in a CB as well.

If he were to commit, my only concern would be if Ole Miss would come knocking. They haven't offered yet. Notre Dame hasn't landed a MS kid in probably close to 20 years so its not like they have roots down there. Hopefully he's a kid that truly values a degree and won't feel pressure at school.

Dang it! I knew that one. My Dad was friends with Starkville’s coach and we got to meet Jay a couple times before he left for SB. If my memory serves me, he had lingering knee problems. I guess before him was J. Jackson from my home town, Tupelo.

They played at roughly the same time in the late 90's. Jay was the HC for SB Washington HS for quite a while up until last year. A bunch of ex-ND guys are coaches in the area. Jarvis Edison (of Kim Dunbar fame) is the HC at SB Riley and Antuan Jones is the HC at SB Adams. They all started out under Jones at Washington and had the team with Gehrig Dieter & David Perkins that lost to John Turner's Cathedral squad in 2011 or '12? state championship game.
