I think that hurts them sometimes. Often these kids don't pan out, and they have no room at the inn for a late bloomer. Yes they are always strong, but I'd think it's hard to win a NC very often by only taking in state players. Vince Youngs don't come around that often.

According to ESPN, Wilson committed to Texas over the weekend. Not too surprised here. We need to break down the fence around Texas like we have been able to with Florida these last few years. Mack has a chokehold on the state. However, Texas might be the best state to find sleepers because Mack gets all his players based on sophmore and junior film.
