Agreed there's no way, they will probably try and sign one difference maker and target 1-2 in the draft.

GB will likely sign a veteran S and EDGE, and then target both positions heavily in April to try and rebuild the depth at those positions.

Interested to see if they draft another WR or if they will target a vet. Team is REALLY high on ESB after his rookie season which plays a factor.

If the Colts don't mess it up, they're gonna be a problem for the rest of the AFC next year.

The Brown to Buffalo talk that happened in the middle of the night. The rumor is that Buffalo offered their #9 pick. When Buffalo talked to Brown and his agent, that is when the trade fell apart. I can't imagine Buffalo would trade a top 10 pick for a 31 year old WR that wants to be $18-$20 mil per year.

Then, the next day (yesterday), the rumor was that Oakland was offering a 2nd and 4th round pick. I was perfectly okay with that. Turns out, they traded for a 3rd and 5th. I'm still okay with that. Pittsburgh is one of the better drafting teams in the NFL, I think they'll find plenty of good players with their extra picks.

One the surface, yeah it sucks losing Bell and Brown. But I'm really interested to see how the team plays and locker room looks without the two guys that only cared about their paycheck.

AB, in my eyes, is the best receiver in Steelers history and this recent drama doesn't change that. Some of the catches he made still amaze me.
Nice write up, and as a life long Steelers fan I agree that AB may go down as the best Steelers WR ever. That being said, the Steelers have only won 3 playoff games with Brown and Bell. It hurts to lose Bell, Brown and Shazier all at the same time, but hopefully they can get the locker room under control and move forward.

Da Raiders strike again.

Raiders plan to sign OT Trent Brown to 4-yr, $66M deal Orlando Brown is now the highest paid OT. All money was guaranteed.

The Raiders also got the fifth round draft pick back by trading starting OG, Kaleche Osemele, to the Jets. They also cleared $10 in cap space. The fifth round pick (#140) was one pick higher than the one they gave to Pittsburgh for AB (#141).

An updated list after the moves:
Here is their current list of 2019 NFL Draft picks after the Brown and Osemele trades.

Round 1, Pick No. 4
Round 1, Pick No. 24 (From Chicago Bears)
Round 1, Pick No. 27 (From Dallas Cowboys)
Round 2, Pick No. 35
Round 4, Pick No. 107
Round 5, Pick No. 140 (From New York Jets)
Round 7, Pick No. 220
Round 7, Pick No. 237 (From Seattle Seahawks)

One way of looking at the Antonio Brown deal is that the Raiders got a first round pick from Dallas for Amari Cooper and gave up a third and a fifth for Antonio Brown. Getting the fifth rd pick back with the trade the Jets means they got AB for a third round pick and the OG.

Updated top F.A. list

It's honestly astounding that Pittsburgh had probably the best two offensive skill players in the NFL on their team, and basically got nothing to show for it, especially with Roethlisberger at QB and the OL they've had the past few years.

It drives me absolutely insane that the Bengals have essentially wasted the prime playing years of one of the best all-around dudes in AJ Green... can't say how I'd feel if the roles were reversed, and it were a couple of players screwing the team instead.

Landon Collins to Washington for BIG $$$$. 6 yrs, $84 Mil.

Trey Flowers, predictably, set to sign with the Detroit (wannabe) Patriots for 5 yrs, for roughly $16-17 Mil per year according to "sources". that's a lot of dough for 7.5 sacks last szn.
