Finally, there is a visit to Notre Dame in the works. He plays at the same school as former Irish offensive lineman Quenton Nelson, so there is a lot of familiarity there.

"Our strength coach worked with Quenton for a while so he's a big Notre Dame guy," Bauman said. "I've worked out with Quenton a few times and talked to him a few times. I've followed him since I was kid. My whole family are Notre Dame fans."
