Didn't realize it was on FOX. still don't quite understand the timing of OSU/Purdue.
IIRC at least two out of last three have been 3:30. "Trouble with the snap" in 2015 occurred as I was walking into the stadium for the USC showdown, which was a night game, and last year I remember watching at a buddies place and showing up in a torrential down poor, and I showed up a few minutes late a 4 pm ET. It was so dark out you would have thought daylight savings time had already ended. Your point still stands though; I feel like historically they make it a noon kick, but sparty hasn't been as good as they have been in the past decade, making this typically "regional" rivalry of more national importance. I just don't like noon kicks, and this is the most intriguing bye week match-up given my pure hatred of scUM. I'll live, just wondering if anyone had some insight.

Many of the games that were cancelled for weather-related issues are being played this weekend - some with the same opponents, many with different ones. In general, fans did not get refunds.
Makeups with same opponent Stanford v Cal Norfolk St v Liberty Cancelled, No makeup games for team(s) UCF v North Carolina (UCF in championship game) Appalachian St v Southern Mississippi (App St in championship game) West Virginia West Virginia, North Carolina and Southern Mississippi will end up playing only eleven games this year. Makeup Games with Different Opponent Original game------Makeup Game Nebraska-Akron --- Nebraska-Bethune Cookman (signed Sept 20) NC St-W.Virginia --- NC St-East Carolina (signed Oct 2) S. Carolina-Marshall -- SC-Akron (signed Nov 3) Va Tech-E. Carolina -- VaTech-Marshall (signed Nov 18) Iowa St-S.Dakota St -- Iowa St-Drake (signed Nov 26) Iowa St originally wanted Drake, but could not get approval. They signed Incarnate Word which was voided when Inc. Word went to Playoffs. Drake's game with William Jewell was canceled due to weather. The Carolinas games were canceled due to the hurricane. The Midwest games were canceled due to thunderstorms with lightning. The Bay Area game was canceled due to wildfire smoke. In general, many of the opponents received the same amount of money for buy-in games. Marshall negotiated for a future home-and-home series. Va Tech will play the twelfth game to become bowl eligible. Makeup games in some cases are having difficulty selling tickets. The Nebraska-Bethune Cookman game was played Oct 27th in what would have been Nebraska's bye week. Last edited by Legacy; 11-28-2018 at 12:44 PM.. |

(As good as any place...)
North Dakota lawmakers want new rivalry trophy for North Dakota State-North Dakota series Quote:
The Sitting Bull trophy goes to the winner of the ND Fighting Hawks and the South Dakota Coyotes, who first played each other in 1903. The Dakota Marker trophy goes to the winner of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits and the ND State Bison, who also first played each other in 1903. |
