FYI, you can go to the NFL as a RS sophomore. As long as you've been in college for 3 years. Pretty sure Michael Crabtree was a RS SO when he left.

Well duh...the rule is 3 years out of high school. I just don't see him leaving that early without a degree.

I think a lot of this speculation can be put to bed if we show improvement on the field, and win games. If we show that we have the potential to be a "great" team next year, I believe that both Cierre and Irish Chocolate return. If we have a devastating end to this season, and take a step back as a program, then they both leave. Just my opinion.

Nolan, is ready to take Louis on the road because so many people would pay to see it; Nolan as the straigh man, and Louis as Louis.

When he made the purple Kelly comment, Nolan said there was such a thing in this world as colateral, and maybe Nix wouldn't want to use all of his up, he may need it sometime before he was done.

Louis got pretty choked up with pride when he talked about his Mom being at last week's game. He mused that maybe that was why he played so well, and maybe she should be at more. Nolan jumped in with his hand raised and said no, it has to be legal nobody wants to see a line of private jets at the JAX airport.

After watching that video, I'm suddenly hungry for some reason.

Instead of bumping a number of player's threads for their interviews, how about you make a thread in 'ND football' or "Vs. Miami (since these pertain to the upcoming game) for interviews? Don't take this the wrong way, not trying to be a dick.

The player thread is exactly where they should go, IMO.

On II's podcast they mentioned that they think Lou's shoulder might still be bothering him. Not trying to start any rumors. He'll be starting and all but they mentioned it so i thought i would here.

It's a football season. Everyone is going to have something hurting them. No news here.

Haven't seen anyone block him yet. Nix is going to make a lot of money on Sundays. All teams, 3-4 and 4-3, should want a guy that size who is that strong and quick as well.

Maybe, maybe not. I imagine he'll want to finish his degree. He'll have two years of eligibility left and if his draft grade comes back moderate-to-low it's hard to imagine him not using at least one of those years to finish his degree and improve his draft stock.

Right now I think he's playing at a 4th-5th round draft pick level but only getting better. Could be a second rounder by the end of the year. All I will say is that if he does go pro we look pretty stupid for not targeting another NG type player in the past class or this current one.

Hope big Lou stays at least one more year and gets his degree! I think he loves it here though and with the success they are having it should make his choice a little bit easier!
