The Panthers are playing some good football right now.
Brotherhood may fade, but it will never run

Fun fact, Whisenhunt had won 6 of his last 50 games.

Boston sports radio talking a big game about how it's a done deal with Pats getting Jason McCourty (#twingate), but none of the national reporters seem to think it's likely. Sadly, the trade deadline is usually boring in the NFL.

Thought I saw a tweet from Ian Rappaport saying they weren't going to move McCourtey.

It's amazing what a great defense can do for you.

Ya, I doubt it happens. He's plugged in with the Pats as well for a national guy. Some radio host is saying Pats are giving a 4th and a 6th and it's a done deal. Seems like not even close to what McCourty should get.

Mike Zimmer will fight you if you take a cheap shot on his QB:

Love Zim, love that guy. In 1 1/2 years he has taken the worst defense in the league and made it a top 5 unit. This by far the best defense Minnesota has had in a long, long time. Probably back to the Purple People Eater days though that predates my lifetime so I can't say for sure.

                        Browns are still unbeaten right?
This sig will not change until The Browns win the Super Bowl... So get real used to it.

The Vikings are in sole possession of first place in the NFC North for the first time since 2009. Pretty unreal. Now we need to handle business and kick the Packers while they're down next Sunday.

Love seeing them do well with all the ND guys there. Plus Bridgewater is the man. Hoping they knock off GB this week.

Anyone else disgusted how the Rams and the NFL handled Case Keenum getting concussed? It was clear as day he had a head injury after getting taken down hard, yet Fisher, any of the staff, and NFL concussion spotters did anything to keep him from continuing to play.

I would like to thank coaching genius Bill Belichik for going for an onside pooch kick up 14-0 on a 4-7 team with a sputtering offense. Without you none of this would be possible.

Yes, I am a Steelers fan but my opinion is coming from a football fan's point of view and not a Steeler's fan point of view. Burfict is just as dirty of a player as Suh and I hope he gets a huge fine for his dirty, unprofessional play. I can't stand Stephen A. and Skip Bayless, but this is one of the few times that I agree with them. Stephen A's call out of the Bengals was great and way overdue.

Burfict is an idiot, but it is humorous to me that all of the other questionable stuff that goes on (between both teams) flies under the radar.

Mike Mitchell lowers his head, spears Tyler Eifert helmet-to-helmet, didn't even try to pick his head up, just flew in as a weapon, makes the hit, gets up, flexes. Eifert's concussed and has to leave the game.

Vince Williams literally threatens to KILL Vontaze Burfict, and crickets "because Burfict is a dirty player and Williams didn't mean it."

Antonio Brown dives at Reggie Nelson's knees on a crack-back... nah, just good, hard football.

Burfict is a complete moron, but the "high and mighty" Steelers fans ignore a lot of their own baggage.

I'm not talking about just the Ben hit. Burfict put a questionable hit on LeVeon Bell and celebrated after he saw that his leg was mangled as the Bengals ended Bell's season early for the second year in a row. Also, as First Take pointed out, he was purposely trying to injure Cam and Olson in the game against the Panthers.

I'll give you the crack-back block. The targeting penalty was "ehh"; I'm not a big fan of that penalty anyway because how the hell are you supposed to play defense if you can't hit someone trying to catch the ball. And I'm fairly positive that wasn't the first or last time a player threatens another player.

And for how dirty the game was, I'm surprised the Bengals didn't get flagged for any personal fouls (Kirkpatrick got flagged for one but it was off setting), while Pittsburgh got flagged for 2 or 3 of them

Steeler's fans upset about the "hit" that lead to Bell's injury is ridiculous. Burfict rode him down from behind. It was a freak accident. And of course he was celebrating, it was a third-down stop. It wasn't a horse collar, and he wasn't out there bending knees at crazy angles on purpose.

The Greg Olson thing was bad, as was the low hit on Ben on Sunday. And I will not deny that Burfict is an unstable dude that plays dirty.

AJ should have been flagged for the celebration when he punted the ball, and the fouls after Brown's cheap-shot probably should have been offsetting with the way Nelson went after him.

But to post anything about that game and ignore the sh*t the Steelers did really grinds my gears lol.

The difference is that none of the dirty play by the Steelers had the potential to be season ending or, even worse, career ending. None of the other Bengals dirty play bothered me, we are used to watching that kind of play during the Steelers-Ravens games. But that low hit Burfict made on Ben made my blood boil and what made it worse was that the refs looked the other way.
