Interesting blurb about Kilburg who you can catch on CNBC from time to time.

Peter Skoronski even has some help in his own Park Ridge neighborhood. He lives near former Notre Dame center Jeff Kilburg, whose son, Ryan Kilburg, also will be a Maine South junior this fall.

It’s tough to get a read on this one and that isn’t likely to change anytime soon. The Illinois native is a mature young man and one who has politely made it clear he isn’t interested about drawing a lot of attention to himself or his recruiting process and he’s definitely not looking to do that in the midst of his junior season. Skoronski was at Notre Dame for the spring game and the opener against Michigan. He told us he really enjoyed the time he spent with Jeff Quinn and called the campus one of the nicest he’s ever seen. He’s also got offers from schools like Penn State, Illinois and Iowa among others. Skoronski’s grandfather, Bob Skoronski, was a captain and left tackle under Vince Lombardi and was a member of five Green Bay Packer championship teams.

My buddy from Glenview thinks his ceiling is higher than anyone out of the area in forever. Kevin Jarvis was his all-time favorite up until young Skowron and I'll have to look at the veins pop out his forehead this weekend in San Diego if Jarvis' name is brought up. But I thought Jarvis could be Q Light for ND too so I can't fault him.

Dad played at Yale.

His Grandfather, Packer great Bob Skoronski ironically grew up just minutes from Yale but played collegiately at Indiana.

That's your takeaway from Loy backing off his NW CB. I think it's the opposite. I think since his visit ND is pushing hard and probably looking to get his commitment as soon as they can. FWIW, Jamie at ISD loves this kid and for good reason.

The realization that he might not see PT until his 4th, 5th year if at all. I liked him like I like Christ but in both cases I think they made better choices for themselves if they actually want to play and can do it at P5 Universties.

At ND I'm not sure when they would get there chance with the backlog of talent and as good as they are I think the strong '21 class that ND is all over that they had a greater chance of falling throiugh the depth chart cracks to go with the class that they just brought in with the '19 class.

Idk, I feel like we say this every year "they're in great position with the position in next year's class". Sure feels like we were saying that about OTs recently.

So for '19 his biggest competition at the interior spot would be Zeke (Center prospect), and Quinn (if they have the luxury of playing him at Guard), and for '20 probably only Zinter? How's their interior OL board look, because he could definitely be playing in his 3rd year, unless ND starts pulling in some monster guards.
