Oh no I agree, but what I was saying that Rupar and his ilk only really think that Fox News is the only biased source. Granted, Fox News pretty damn shit, and they were embarrassingly bad for most of the Trump administration. They sort of created this whole problem IMO that our cable news has turned into. The rest of the sources were always left leaning, but when Fox came in to become a right leaning news network they overcorrected I think. It was a wildly successful model, which is why all the other news networks have tried to emulate them.

Can someone explain these election laws and why they are so racist and why its such a big story....

I think they have to move it to California or New York... If people can't find a reason to complain about voting laws they will find something wrong with the state they move it to... unless its California or NY

That's the point. He's not an extremist and it's totally wrong for Drayer to call him one.

I hope they move it to Xianjing. The hyper-politicization of everything is ruining the country. I was going to go Wrigley/Cinci/Detroit for games this summer but that plan just got tossed. Biden is lying out of his ass about the Georgia bill and even got called on it by the left-wing WaPo. MLB playing into woke hands is insane and just ruined baseball for me. I'll have to get my fill coaching little league this year.

This will cost money to Atlanta and black businesses and employees there and I fully expect them to move it to a state with similar voting integrity requirements or worse, watch.

    (Yes on Rupar- lunatic)

Voting takes long because Democrats vote more than once? I don't recall that logic. May have been made in gest. I waited forever to vote in 2020 for the first time. I live in a pretty white burb too for metrics. I have lived and voted in areas where I was a minority and it was much quicker.

Rupar lives to the very far-left and has consistently bizarre takes that require a special world-view that I (and I suspect others) would consider rather extreme. He has deliberately mislead readers for Vox, which is probably accepted there, and like I said, even earned the attention of Urban Dictionary for it. You may find his views more acceptable than I. Doesn't seem like a big thing to me.

The whataboutism with Trump is interesting. Personally, I'd like the GOP to be done with him. He did some things that were good and he also shot himself in the foot on others. He wasn't seeking or taking my advice, so..

Biden earns ‘Four Pinocchios’ from Washington Post for false claim about Georgia voting law-

The Washington Post Fact Checker knocked President Biden on Tuesday for falsely claiming a new Georgia law "ends voting hours early," giving him its harshest rating of Four Pinocchios for spreading the misinformation.

Biden repeatedly claimed last week a law signed by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, R., would make it harder for working-class people to vote.

Debt and taxes are about to move up the list with the Biden border crisis. This infrastructure plan on the heels of the other big partisan wishlist spend is insanity. The tax hike for 400k and up that he campaigned on is already being tweaked down to 200k and they will need a tax hike to justify this. They are saying they can do it with a corporate tax rate hike to 28%, but that seems like an introductory proposal and I'll bet this gets even worse.

They did one big covid spend because the country needed it, fine. Now we're just exploiting it and to some extent, the first packages did that too. The plan seems to focus the most on electric vehicles, charging stations, and the grid. Electric vehicles are already booming and states are already pushing forward aggressively with RPS goals. I guess I'll just sit back and email Joe Manchin some more and hope for his sanity.

Their opposition to the American Rescue Plan was extremely unpopular, Biden has tracked around 54% approval since being inaugurated, his approval of handling COVID is sky high, etc. They trotted out a number of talking points about the debt, cancel culture, China, etc. The only that is both driving engagement AND has poor approval numbers for Biden is the border. That's why the same people who didn't have a word to say in 2019 are going through insane theatrics to pretend it's THE most important issue. The truth is that it's basically the status quo and nowhere close to what we saw in the early 00s. And moreover, people expected a big surge this year regardless of who was President because of the depressed crossing numbers in 2020.

All is fair in politics, because as I said on here years ago the "kids in cages" thing was an overblown trope that could be traced back to before Trump even became president. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I agree that the outrage at Obama's cages under Trump was insane and entirely political, but is it really fair to compare the Biden border crisis to the surge seen before? It's different in both size and reason. People weren't showing up in Trump shirts because they thought Trump was going to open the border and give them a handout. We didn't have convention centers and military installations being turned into overcrowded migrant detention centers. I don't see a fair comparison.

It has more to do with knowingly spreading misinformation and consistently circulating fiction as truth.

I don't call people Nazi's unless they are like actual self-identified nazis. Heidi Heitkamp and the left have a much lower threshold. The Fascist thing from the left is hilarious as almost every power structure and influence group in the country is driving their agenda. If you consistently spread false information under false pretexes and that information gets cycled by followers, it's Blue Anon.
How is it knowingly spreading misinformation when it's LITERALLY the words of those he quoted?

Guess I should get out of my bubble more. You know, the one that went nearly forty years without having to worry about mainstream Nazis.
Personally, I love to see people claim that the Left is damaging discourse because everyone is a Nazi/Fascist to them.......yet here we are debating whether a reply guy on Twitter is an extremist. Or, that the Left loves to give people offensive labels......yet Blue Anon is this lovely made up term.

The numbers we're seeing now have not reached peak 2019. It is on track and following the exact same shape as 2019 crossings, just marginally more and will likely exceed in the May 2019 peak but it isn't there yet. It is nowhere close to the numbers we used to see... even the worst projections for 2021 still have the numbers at some of the lowest levels they have been in 40 years. It can't be considered a crisis in any historical context. The below is the graph of illegal crossings tracked back to 1970 when they were at their lowest levels. Even if crossings hit 500k this year it will be lower than the number of crossings every year from ~1973 to 2010, and it will be in the ballpark of numbers we've seen from 2010 to 2020.

Look, I know most people don't, but the fact is Matt Gaetz just isn't going to do well in prison.

Madison Cawthorn celebrated on Twitter for grant money that his distirct received even though he voted against it.

The issue the right will have is unless there's a big economic/natural disaster cataclysm the border numbers will go back down below the current surge levels due to the underlying forces driving this. The issue will go away or Biden will claim to have solved it.

So what makes him an extremist as you previously said?
