Put it back on ABC where it belongs.

I still won't watch unless DaBears are on.
I truly don't understand why its on ESPN. It's MNF, it belongs on broadcast.

    Funnier than you in 2012.

      1. It holds NFL fans in the cable bundle.

      2. It gets Disney higher carriage fees from the cable companies.

          3. It pays for Wiz's pay raise.

          4. It pays for Wiz's monthly vacation to Disney World.

          5. It pays for Wiz's closet full of over priced shoes.

Sports fans should not complain about the lack of a la carte packages. In that world, you'd pay more for just ESPN, FS1, and your regional sports networks than you do for the entire bundle today. Non-sports fans subsidize sports fans in the current model.

I don't work for ESPN anymore, I work for Direct-to-Consumer.

On an unrelated note, have you checked out Disney+. Only $6.99 per month for great titles that you can watch in 4K or download to stream offline later. What a tremendous value!

                • ESPN did what?!?! - hired Ryan Leaf of all people to co-host NFL live. Must have got him at the right price being a Felon and all. Somewhere JaMarcus Russell is getting his resume together between sips of Da Purple Drank.

                  • Not that this ever changed, but Katie Nolan is still incredibly cute, entertaining, and dripping with personality. Was watching ESPN while I was out to lunch and they had her on. She's so damn like-able, why did they have her stuck on ESPN+ and then ESPN2 instead of being featured on the main program?

I actually totally disagree. She was cute/hot/funny when she was first on TV. Now she is just kinda cute and not that funny. I don't know if it's aging or her not taking care of herself as much or whatever but something definitely changed.

I'll give ESPN all the credit in the world so far... I just wish WGN still had the guts and money.

There's been some post in the What Are You Watching thread.

I'm making my way through the series (just finished ep3 earlier this evening).

Why? I thought it was fine. Not an issue situation to do a mass production like that.

Because they found a traumatic event from nearly every kid's life that they could. Most of the time the event was not related to anything that could be considered quality draft analysis.

Wasn't that only on the ABC broadcast? Which was expected to that broadcast? I watched both, DVR'd and don't recall ESPN highlighting traumatic events for every or even half of the draft picks.

I noticed it on the ESPN and NFL Network broadcasts. They'd mention how a grandparent died in 2005 so this guy is motivated for them. LIke, IDK losing grandparents sucks, and losing them as a small child (like in 2005 for these guys) is rough, but does it really have any relevance?

                                          • There was only one feed produced by ESPN and aired on ESPN & NFL Network. I tuned into the NFL Network because their personalities are generally much better but was bummed to get it via ESPN and had to watch that disgrace of a broadcast.

I'm really curious about the softness of a society,... when we worry about reading the hardest time of a human beings life and thinking It hurts their feelings in a worse way than they had when they tried harder in spite of it...
Not everyone has parents that loved them (or cares about them as adults) more than themselves... That's actually a newer Idea...

Kimes opposite Spears, Orlovsky, and Johnson? I don't see how she is going to mesh with them, especially Johnson

Not a big fan of Golic Jr's evening show. Based on Golic Sr's wife's tweet, guessing they are not happy.

Then only a 2-3 minutes of FB stuff (Cam and the Pats), and the remainder of the show was non-FB stuff. So 2-3 minutes of actual FB content on a 60 minute show that's about football. Thank god for DVRs.

I used to wake up with Mike and Mike (later Wingo and Golic), watch NFL Live, CFB Live, and Sports Center briefly in the evening. Golic is now gone, Greenberg just doesn't do it for me, Golic Jr doesn't do it for me either, and the other shows just suck. I'm still in awe a bit that NFL Live only contained like 3 minutes of actual NFL football news over a 60 minute broadcast. Hope that changes once the games start. Only two weeks away!

I have a hard time seeing Book being a finalist, mainly because I think we run the ball a lot this year and I think until Kevin Austin comes back the Skowroneck/Lenzy/Keys + young guys passing attack isn't going to put up Clemson or Oklahoma numbers through the air. But it's certainly possible, especially with Tommy Rees not running a dumbass scheme anymore that hamstrings everyone.

                                                                                                  A. A high-quality completion percentage year. (has proved that he can do this.)
                                                                                                  B. A high-TD-to-interceptions ratio. (has proved that he can do this.)
                                                                                                  C. Wins a game or two with his legs (has proved that he can do this.)
                                                                                                  D. Beats Clemson and gets ND into the playoffs (Big IF, but I'm not giving up on the idea that this team can do that.)

ND>Clemson=Book>Lawrence in voting. Who else is the competition (on other NC teams)?

This may be unlikely but I'm not starting the season saying it's crazy.
