If I was in your shoes, and one vaccine is going to take 2+ months longer to get, I'm taking the one I can get my hands on first....

  • Thanks for the recommendation, I like the look of that. What it really comes down to is a platform that will allow us to port over our existing information. Also looking at Xenforo....

If your goal is to avoid dying or getting seriously ill, JnJ is going to get you to that goal a month sooner than following another vaccine path. With that being said, Pfizer has better overall effectiveness if you're willing to do the two shot regimen....

Btw, these donations allowed us to contract a database professional this week to (hopefully) fix the site. If not, we're going to see if it's feasible to move the content over to a new platform.

Where we got fucked in this whole process is that we planned on running the site in its outdated...

I'm not saying every state should be exactly the same, but we all should take a step back and realize that national voting standards / laws have been a thing for a very long time. And that most of them were put in place for very good reasons, or to combat some evil and/or undemocratic stuff being done...

No controversy, you start Coan and then if the season is going poorly you move on to Buchner (or one of the other QBs).

On the flip side you have Republicans in states across the country trying to restrict voting rights. For example, they're ironically trying to undo the 100% Republican supported bill that opened up absentee voting in Pennsylvania. Banning early voting on Sundays in Georgia because a lot of black people...

  • The complicating factor is going to be that there is expected to be a LOT of competition for basketball coaches this year. Basically, no one fired anyone last year because of COVID, so there will be almost double the vacancies of a normal year....

Biden announced that given the increased distribution rates and the what they're going to be doing with rollout of the J&J vaccine that there will be enough supply for every American by the end of May. They are a full two months ahead of the July target now.

    Lax,
When you bought the server, did you reference the minimum specs vBulletin required? Typically web sites are more cpu intensive than memory usage. Data storage and how it's formatted can cause DB response issues as well.

  • The whole story is bizarre. Now it's being reported that it was a car accident with no foul play... but his girlfriend says that he was with someone else in the car when he left to head over to her place? I hope we get some clarity soon.

The server itself might be playing a role, but right now what's happening is that there is something wrong with the database that is causing the server to basically get caught in a loop or otherwise inundated with calls to the point where it can't process all of them. Could be some of the plug ins and...

  • I can say with absolute certainty that ND is actively looking for a coach right now, and that people inside the athletic department say the plan is for him to retire at the end of the season. Allegedly, he was set to retire last year but had a change of heart after losing the season to COVID....

  • Just awful. He did so much for the program and was beloved by his teammates + coaches. I'm at a loss for words and I hope we get more information on what transpired.

  • Yeah, all of the transfers were impressive impact players today. The team has GREAT balance and athleticism. The way they won today is how they used to win when they were regularly making final fours and competing for championships -- dominate possession, get great goalie play, create transition opportunities....

  • Team looking really good right now against a decent Robert Morris team. Offense is full of competent dodgers and athletic threats, but the big reason they’re dominating is because their faceoff unit is INSANE right now and that plays right into the style that works for ND and Corrigan.

It was definitely sarcasm given the poster. Most of the decline is natural coming off the holiday spike. Some of it is undoubtedly vaccine rollout, especially given results from Israel. We're at a point where at least 60 million people have some sort of immunity either from contracting the disease or...
