I agree with you about Jimbo since JW. I think he's overrated....

This was funny. Earlier this week, A&M HC Jimbo Fisher was asked what it would take for his team to beat Bama outside of Saban retiring. Jimbo snapped back, "We're going to beat his ass when he's there, don't worry!"

Saban's response, when told about it was, "In golf?"...

Racing legend Bobby Unser, winner of three Indy 500's, passed away yesterday at the age of 87. Unser won dozens of races in several types of racing and was one of those guys who just seemed born behind the wheel of a race car.

Great bad parker pics! I hate those inconsiderate people. I love just about everything about the town where I live in S. Dakota, except for the way people park. Worst bunch of people I've ever seen for parking crooked, half in the next spot, halfway out in the street, and etc. We live directly across...

It's not just the hair itself that's so annoying and girlish about him. It's his constant running his hands through it and tossing his head like a 15-year-old girl trying to look sexy. It's easy to imagine him brushing it 500 times before bed every night and admiring himself in the mirror while slinging...

Still trying to figure this one out. Was he being intentionally funny? Was he just focused on walking out on the stage? Was he nervous and simply forgot to react with his family? I sure don't think he was being self-centered and unconcerned about his family, as he has a huge rep for being Mr. Humble...

Hover your cursor over the various countries and it gives the homicide and rape rates for that country. Our numbers are comparable to those of several third world hell holes. It's not that police can't or shouldn't do a better job - they should - but police in the US are dealing with circumstances,...

"In selected countries" is the problem with your graph. It compares the US to some of the countries with the lowest crime rates. Sadly, the crime rate in the US for things like murder, rape, and assault - violent crime (not to mention drug related and property crime) - is MUCH more similar...

Former astronaut Michael Collins died of cancer this morning at the age of 90. He was a graduate of West Point, but elected to serve in the Air Force to avoid any suggestion of nepotism (his father and uncle were both Army generals). He served as a fighter pilot during the 50's, a test pilot in the...

You might be surprised at how many teens DON'T really know this, or at least don't really understand why it's important. My sister taught at a juvenile detention facility for two years and she was constantly dumbfounded by how uninformed many of those kids were. Stuff most of us take for granted and...

LOL!!! Joe, Joe, Joe. Can his handlers not do a better job of keeping him from doing stuff like this? It's almost as if they want him to make a fool of himself on a daily basis.

Olympic athletes promised legal support if they protest (espn.com)

This is part of why so many of us HATE the entire PC/SJW thing so much. Sports is often an escape from the relentless stream of bad news, conflict, stress, and hostility we deal with all too often in life. ESPN all but ruined...

Baloney. Of course you have. That was exactly your point earlier. EVERY SINGLE ONE of your suggestions for fixing the problem revolved around what cops and society should do to fix the problem, and not a single suggestion had anything to do with what criminals should do to change their behavior. And...

Why? You and a few others constantly push a false narrative that all cops are bad, it's NEVER the criminal's fault, all cops are racist assassins of poor innocent minorities, and then you have nothing but a smartass, non-contributive reply when he posts a video showing otherwise....

First, the "victim blaming" card is overused and badly used too often. It's like screaming "RACISM!!!" every time you're losing an argument to facts. It's an emotional argument used by mushy thinkers instead of using logic and facts and done in order to avoid reality. The "victim"...

It's not victim blaming to point out that engaging in criminal behavior, resisting arrest, attempting to flee or elude police and fighting with police is a major contributing factor to the vast majority of these incidents. While many of the suggestions you made are valid, you didn't mention anything...
