In my experience Netflix is quite a network hog, much more so than online gaming for sure. That's a lot of streaming video there. Hopefully you should be fine now though. I run roughly a 20 mbs connection through my standard Time Warner service and I can typically stream video and play online but I don't do it very often. I guess a good question would be what was her viewing like on the 5mbs service? Did she ever get issues with buffering or slow downs?

Something you may wanna do is run a quick test on speedtest.net before you change ISPs, then run it again after the new connection is hooked up and see how it really compares. It's always nice to see if the company is delivering what you're paying for, even if they're unable to provide a certain speed at all times during the day.
Let me know if that answers the question.

For basic internet surfing, no media, you won't notice a big change probably. You'll see the biggest gains in videos streaming faster and file downloads. You probably won't see a whole lot of difference in your online gaming I would think, but I don't know how much you play online outside of NCAA which isn't terribly taxing from a network standpoint if I recall. Game/System updates will likely be noticeably faster.
As with all things network related, distance still plays a factor (Downloads from a server in a neighboring state will be faster than from the west coast) and you're likely not going to get 20mbs at all times (That's probably the best case speed). There's also the fact that you may be sharing your bandwidth with more or less users in your area depending on the ISP you're switching to and how many of your neighbors are also using that ISP (If it's cable based). That won't be a big deal most of the time, but during peak hours you'll likely see the slowest speeds.

Yeah lol, that guy has been cracking me up since 2013. I don't really fault him for being a fan, but the way he presents his "facts" are in typical media bullshit fashion. He takes things out of context, and he skews the data (Or sometimes falsifies it, based on the 2013 game) to support his crazy arguments. It's one thing to be a fan, but he puts up this facade of being some kind of journalist based on his Rant Sports articles, so I feel like I have to reel him in without being an outright troll and getting censored.

We speak the same language. Dumb and Dumber is far and away my most quoted movie. I currently can't think of a runner up other than Step Brothers. But Step Brothers is a distant second.

Thanks for the reps. It's my goal in life to get to a point where I only communicate in movie quotes.

You should keep dipping into the Cajun persona as the season goes on. By the end an epic Farmer Fran-esque speech could be delivered, one that none of us could comprehend or decipher like in Waterboy.

Well I was in Columbus from 2010-2013 so I definitely had Skyline there. But actually my mom's chili recipe is almost identical because we are Greek and the Skyline owners are, too. So I grew up on it!
