Jake Brown, IrishIllustrated reports Ishmael Thomas will camp at ND.

Previous reports had him planning to camp at UM, MSU, and ND. He's also visited NW.

I haven't seen any grade info but he has an offer from Vandy which bodes well.

That would be a MAJOR surprise IF the Irish could "steal" him from both scUM and MSU!

Hes is rated 3* and 1* player! Why, pray tell, would you consider this a steal?

FYI, 1* = has not been evaluated.

No comment on "a steal"

Hey, some 3* are steals. Look at Sam Bradford. I think Colt McCoy was a 3* too.

"Steal" as in getting him out of Michigan (to come to ND) when BOTH scUM and MSU are recruiting him.

Yes he was and about 115 programs didn't offer him for whatever reasons.

He never got the ND offer he coveted. He even came to camp, and perhaps might have gotten an offer if ND wasn't in such good shape w/ Moore and now Shembo...
