I would have to go with Oden. Big men like him don't come around very often. How many centers have we seen dominate the game lately. Just one comes to mind Shaq.

Oden. A Bill Russel type player will go a long way.

Oden: Durant can't even bench 185 ONCE.

ummm...different type of player. Durant is explosive, Oden would give the Blazers a big center. Both are in need there...lol

Oden. When else can you recruit a 35 year old rookie?

j/k

They already have a servicable wing player in Brandon Roy. Get rid of Zach Randolph and pick Oden.

Oden does look quite old for his age lol. His high school team beat my best friends high school two years in a row at the state game. In the last game Conley had like 40 something points and Oden easily had a double-double.

Oden, No question.

Honestly, I think the celtics were deflated by the fact they get neither. Either would be welcome, but outside of Jordan/Lebron, you gotta go with a difference maker on both sides of the ball (although offense may take longer).

Pretty unanimous decision here by the look of it. However, I do think that Durant will be a great player. He had an amazing year at Texas, no one could stop him. Last night on ESPN it was reported that Durant could not bench 185 more than once, I think it was or maybe he couldn't even get that up.

Durant COULD NOT BENCH 185 ONCE. This article also states that Oden has 7.8% body fat, and that most big men have more than 12%.

That's right. He is overrated. He should be skipped by the first 4 teams and the fifth pick should be Durant...

I think a lot of people would lose their jobs if that happened. :banghead2

Confirmed that Oden will go #1 to Portland, and Seattle with a no brainer will select Durant.

Ray Allen is coming to town...

means nothing. We can be called Nets North. All backcourt and no bangers. Hoping Al Jefferson turns into a 15 and 10 guy..

Al Jefferson is going to be a beast... the Pacers were trying to trade Jermaine for Al and the #5 pick, and the Celtics were having none of that.

I am not hearing nothing from the front office as far as getting another big in here to help Al out. If they don't get at least a Camby they won't go too far in the Playoffs. They need another big. Come on Ainge make it happen!!!

Big blow to the Trailblazers this year. They maybe a lottery team again.

And yes it is a slow day at work...

HOLY CRAP. If they would have known this before the draft they would have drafted Oden. If they get a lottery pick again next year they could be loaded!!

Yeah think about it. They got a 2 in Roy a 4 in Aldridge and a 5 in Oden. They need a swing and a pass first point (maybe, depending on Jarrett Jack)

Blazers............the owner must think he is star-crossed. Or that he owns the Celtics, same thing.

Reading this thread makes me wonder if part of an NBA game consists of bench pressing. How much do you think KG, Kobe, or Duncan can bench? Answer: Who cares!

Durant will be a super star, whether or not he can bench the bar.
