It's probably unfair to limit the number to 3, but give it a try. Name the top 3 all time best players, in your opinion, to ever wear the pinstripes for long enuf to make an impact w/ the team.

Mine would be:

Babe Ruth
Lou Gehrig
Joe DiMaggio (I'd probably put Mantle in as tied w/ the Yankee Clipper)

Ruth is by far the greatest baseball player ever... kind of hard to argue that... but if forced to do so I would have a really hard time not putting Lou Gehrig as the all time greatest Yankee

I tend to take out the hundreds of horrible experiences I have had with Bo Sox fans at the Big A on random Bo Sox fans... didn't used to be that way but I have had some horrible, HORRIBLE experiences. I find it hard to stop myself in the last year or two

Agreed. Ruth would have been a HOFer as a pitcher or as the fiercely hitting OF he became.
