All i have to say is WOW. I just watched the latest senior videos of K. Neals and he is an amazing athlete with great instincts. How he is not a high 4star to a 5 star i dont know. We got an athletic NASTY football player here fellas. Go Irish!!!

Over on ESPN they have Neal rated as, I think, the #30 or so player in the nation, and one of the best DE in the country. In fact, they have him rated higher than JT, take it for what its worth.

Neal is #26 on ESPN, and their #4 rated DE, behind only Tez, Dunlap, and Allen Bailey. Pretty impressive company. JT is #141 on ESPN, and they have him as the #19 DE in the country. JT is only Top 100 in Scout & Rise Magazine. However, like you said take it for what its worth because ESPN gives Jason Peters a scout rating of only 40, which basically means they did not even think he was good enough to look at, while Peters is a Rivals 250 4 star, and a solid 4 star at Scout. Go figure.

Since i saw the Duval Kamara thread come back to life i will ressurrect Kerry Neal. I read a teaser rivals headline and it seems like our coaches want him to seriously play if not start immedietly this year. He's already signed his LOI and they are still in his ear about needing him to be ready. Plus watching him play it's like looking at a splitting image of Darius Fleming, got to like our future.

I think he was by far our biggest get on D last year. I'd really like to see him get in the mix this year.

I for one am looking forward to the freshmen class coming in...I think they will be difference makers for us and we are going to need for this freshmen class to step in quickly IMO
