ESPN - MLB Power Rankings - Major League Baseball


biggest shocker to me is still the play of the Tigers... The Rays and Marlins don't floor me... I knew they had a lot of talent, but I will still be mighty impressed if either make a playoff run...

The I told you so award thus far goes to the New York Mets and their fans... I see nothing that makes me think they'll be far above 500 this year.. but we'll see it's still a young season... oh and personally as an Angels fanI have to give a WTF for a four place drop in the rankings b/c nothing more than injuries really...

I know I never thought the Met's was gonna be gangbusters, nor did the other diehard Met's fan I know. We only added Santana. We never address the lapse of hitting at first base or second base . So please stop with the off base commentary on the state of the Met's fans. Reminds me of ESPN. But like you said the season still young.

I am so uninterested in baseball right now. I've been to one game this year and haven't watched more than a half hour of any game on TV.

i have however taken my son to play baseball every saturday for the last month or so, and that has been more fun than ever playing or watching baseball myself.

now, back to the regularly scheduled discussion...
