It's a possibility, the family's GoFundMe page notes:
A June 7th article from Inside Maryland Sports article mentions the family not disclosing Jordan's medical condition and mentions the possiblitiy of heat stroke.
According to the National Institute of Health, "Acute liver failure (ALF) is relatively frequent during heat stroke (HS)"
N.B. This is not a diagnosis. Just some background information.
