That's the highest a ND player has been drafted since Bryant Young was drafted 7th in 1994. Wow

So will Manti...I saw a tweet the other day that I think it said Manti is the 6th ranked player in next years draft....early so TIFWIW

Eifert is the #1 TE...don't remember overall.

Braxton Cave could be a player for the top round with a stellar year and no injuries.

Manti will easily be a first rounder. He will go in the 10 to 15 range......hopefully

He could very well crack top ten if he continues to cut down on missed tackles (he's had some, although we don't want to admit it. He attacked some angles too fast sometimes.) and has a few interceptions and/or touchdowns.

I think Manti has a huge year and helps leave this program a better place than when arrived. Crazy how fast 4 years goes I still remember him getting in for his first snaps against Nevada.

Agreed. I think it's particularly important that he refines his coverage skills. As for everything else, it's pretty difficult to complain too much. Just normal advancement of those skills should suffice but with a little extra work on his coverage skills, he would unquestionably be right up there.

Yeah, time flies. Manti has been a great player and a great ambassador for ND. I'm always impressed when I hear how some of the younger players and recruits look up to him. Obviously I wish him well in his future pursuits but it will be bittersweet to see him go. I too remember the excitement of his first few snaps...especially since they came with some memorable hits too.
