I know it may be too early to bring this topic up...BUT...After watching Golden have yet another outstanding game, I personally don't see how he does NOT win it....I know the media has a love/hate relationship with ND and it's players...and it seems like everyone is always swooning over Shipley at Texas or A.J. Green at Georgia....but, in my humble opinion, there has been no one better, or more valuable, at the WR position this year than Tate...The plays that Golden has made all year long...The heart that the kid plays with...Golden Tate exemplifies what the Biletnikoff award is all about...No matter the week in the season, Tate has been the "go-to-guy" and just an absolute beast...That is consistancy and that can NOT be said about the other candidates...I just hope the media and voters can ignore their bias against ND and give him the recognition he has earned and rightfully deserves! Homerism aside, Tate not winning would be a travesty of John Carlson-esque proportions, who should have a Mackey to polish in his trophy case.

| "That" Guy | Jordan Shipley (who was held to a meager four catches for 22 yards in the Red River Shootout) will be playing an even better defense than Oklahoma in Nebraska. If he does get shut down (very likely), Tate will have the award in his pocket. I'll bold this for emphasis: Michael Floyd would have the Biletnikoff in his pocket by now if he hadn't been injured. Still, GT holds the crown for best Irish receiver I've ever seen...for now. MUAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!
