A Tale Of Two Camps

A Tale of Two Camps « Alexandria

This isn't a recruiting article about a prospect but rather a review of two football camps run for high school students. The article is written by the father of a HS football player who camped this summer at ND and UTN. The author contrasts the organization, attention to detail, environment, instruction, and other facets of the two camps.

Quote:
Everything about Notre Dame impressed me. Nothing about Tennessee did.
I didn't find the conclusion surprising as it speaks to the cultures of the insititution as well as their head coaches. What is surprising is that the author is a Vol alumnus, one of 6 in his immediate family. This article was not written through the eyes of a homer but rather through the eyes of a scrutinizing dad.

As for the son, he intends to play for Cincy.

It's important to ND recruiting to get the parents to visit as well as the student athlete

Great story, i think Notre Dame usually does a great job of winning over parents. Is it just me or does it seem that alot of people have a tough time spelling Weis?
