Actually it is a pretty good apples to apples comparison. Both populations faced homicidal, systematic oppression by a self appointed "master race" or "races". This is probably a large reason why The Jewish population played such a big role in the civil rights movement here in the US, but hey what do I know being so detached from reality and all. Thanks for the negative reps. Anyhow, I just wanted to address what you said in the message with it. You said you would "play the Jew card". Look that's fine. I completely understand why Jews felt the need to establish and maintain the state of Israel as a place where Jews can be garunteed life free of the persecution they faced over the centuries. That being the case I would expect a bit more empathy for the black alumni who didn't want a white coach at a school that was established as a similar place for African Americans in this country. How do you think the hasids would react if people proposed that an Israeli Arab be appointed prime minister? Anyhow, thanks for the discussion. Take care.
