Larceny Bourbon. From Heaven Hill Distillery, wheat bourbon with ages ranging from 6-12 years and 46%. Some corn, wheat bread, vanilla, and spices. Coats the tongue and is rather thick. A little mint, tobacco and vanilla on the finish with some bitterness. I just opened this today so the smell/flavor profile might change as I get use to it. Overall I think it is pretty good and not a bad price at about $25.

Victory Summer Love IPA...very mild IPA...clean finish...a very good summer beer IMO.
We learned more from a three-minute record, than we ever learned in school...

Last night had a 7c's Session IPA from Bare Hands. A great summer beer. Lighter, but still a classic hoppy taste. Very unique.
And then a pint of their staple, ThaI PA. So delicious!
Whenever any of you are in South Bend next, you have to go check out Bare Hands Brewery in Granger. It will not disappoint!

I went out to wish a co-worker a fond farewell last night and had some Auchentoshan 12 year. It's a pretty good scotch, well-balanced and not too peaty. Their 3 wood is very good stuff, but you'll pay for the privilege (something like $55-$60 retail). Part of the fun is trying to say the name right, and seeing the confused look on bartenders faces while you say it. I swear, the bartender last night looked at me like I was making up silly-sounding brands names just to f*** with him.
