Rumor is Butch Jones is the next UK coach (current Cincy HC). Was holding out for other offers but unlikely to get them. Poor UC can't hold onto a coach for the life of them.

Purdue's AD specifically mentioned needing to excite their fan base. Their attendance and general excitement around the football program is well, putrid. I just don't see Chuck as being the guy that could do that. I believe they will look to make a splash with a young gun or firey guy.

Why would anyone want to go to UK? You are setting yourself up for failure. Atleast at Cincy you can snag some pretty easy BigEast championships.

I am planning on transferring to Purdue next year, and I gotta say.... I would love to have Bobby D coaching in West LaLa... I just need some kind of ND connection up there.
