The football committee of the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, which governs high school sports, is adopting a "score management" policy that will suspend coaches whose teams win by more than 50 points. Full article here I definitely have mixed feelings about this... |

I can understand some sort of rule in youth sports like elementary and even junior high, but saying a team must stop playing so it doesn't result in someone getting punished is flat out ridiculous. We're failing our kids... big time.

Simply implement the rule where the clock doesn't stop for anything but timeouts. The clock just runs when a team is ahead by more the 30 points. Pretty fair. |
