Okay I love my older brother and all but he's JUST like every other Michigan fan. Talking shit before the season even starts. "Michigan has Rich Rodriguez" blah blah fucking blah. or "There's no way Michigan will be worse than 9-3" blah blah fucking blah. Or "watch out for next year because thats when we will be deadly" blah blah fucking blah. Obviously my older brother is a Michigan fan (Pray for him) and I'm the Notre Dame fan (I like to consider myself the smarter brother instead of the "younger" brother). I told my bro to not be dissapointed if Michigan has a "down" year and he just exploded!!!!! Michigan wont have a down year he says.....(typical Michigan fan) I feel so bad for this breed of people because they are ALL so damn naive!!!! To make a long story short I hate Michigan and what they represent and they're fans for the shit that they ALWAYS talk. I think personally that Michigan is going to have a down year and here are my reasons why: 1) New coach and new system. 2) New quarterback who has NEVER took a collegiate snap in his career. 3) Lost a ton of talent and veterans. 4) Not an easy schedual. Sounds very familiar doesnt it??? Kinda like what happened to us last year right? Here's what I think will happen with Michigan this year. Aug. 30th vs. Utah.....Loss (Yep the utes win) Sep. 6th vs. Miami (Ohio)....Win Sep. 13th @Notre Dame....Loss Sep. 27th vs. Wisconsin....Loss Oct. 4th. vs. Illinois....Loss/Win (Not sure cuz its their homecoming game) Oct. 11th vs. Toledo....Win (WTF? Did Michigan join the MAC?) Oct. 18th @Penn State...Loss Oct. 25th vs. Michigan State....Loss/Win (Michigan owns state) but this could go Sparty's way) Nov. 1st @Purdue....Win (They own purdue as well) Nov. 8th @Minnesota...Win Nov. 15th vs Northwestern....Win Nov. 22nd @Ohio State....LOSS! So all in all I personally think Michigan goes 6-6, 7-5, or if things go their way 8-4. I'm hoping 6-6 or even 0-12 would be nice to shut those fuck faces up. Thoughts????

But at the start of last year, very few people would have expected such poor play from ND. But looking back now, knowing what was going on (the spread-option debacle, less than full-speed practices, two years of poor quality/quantity recruiting depleting the OL/DL, ver little experience and senior leadership) it makes more sense. Michigan's offense has many of the same ingredients that ND had last year: - new starting QB (redshirt freshman who is mobile but not exactly a dual-threat QB) - new starting RB - new starting WRs - 4 new OL starters In addition, they're implementing a new offensive scheme and have zero senior starters; ND at least had two last year (Sullivan and Carlson). Their only returning starter on the OL is a sophmore I believe (could be wrong on that). Their defense is definitely a strong point, with 7 returning starters. But that may be negated if RR is asking them to also learn the 3-3-5 defensive scheme. Regardless of the talent and experience on the defense, if the offense can't give them rest by keeping the ball and moving the chains... we saw what that did for ND's defense last year. Many of the CFB pundits are using arguments like "Michigan hasn't finished a season under .500 in 40 years..." or "RR won 36 and only lost 5 games while at WV with his spread-option..." but none of those statements are relevant to the present Michigan team. Never before (at least that I'm aware of) has a Michigan team had this many questions/issues on offense. The schedule RR played at WV doesn't even come close to the schedule Michigan plays; the top teams in the Big East (Cincinatti, Connecticut and SoFlorida) would be middle to bottom in the Big Televen. WV only ever played one team per year that is on par with OSU, Illinois, PSU or Wisconsin; now he gets 4. Not to mention Mich State seems to be on the upswing (at least for the first part of the season, LOL) They have so many question marks on the offense, which is bound to have a ripple effect on the defense, that I would be seriously concerned if I were a Michigan fan.
