In a different year perhaps. But this year no shot as a TE and as a DE too many other offers ahead of him. UM was his only "big" offer. UVA and homestate PIT offered but not PSU. No MSU, WIS, or IOW offers either.
Rivals ranks him as the #28 WDE, 3 Star, 5.6 rating. Chance Carter was not ranked in Rivals top WDE although he's also a 3 Star, 5.6 rating. Prince Shembo has not been evaluated by Rivals. Chris Martin's pumped enough iron to grow into the #1 WDE. Lemonier, Odighizuwa, and Miller are all much highly rated. Tim Jackson's waiting for a offer. Lemonier and Miller are probably the only ones not in the game. Then there's Blake Lueders and half a dozen other guys with offers at the other DE slot. And there's a couple of guys in the LB group that could grow like Martin and play up close.
Good luck to him as Wolverweasel. May he win all the games in his career except when he plays ND. I hope he gets to see his brother score 3 TDs on the second Saturday in September.
