Golfers - Athletes?

no, because there's no athletic movement involved in aiming your firearm. i'm not saying it doesn't require skill, but there's nothing athletic about it. the point of shooting a firearm is to minimize movement.

since you're so adamant, it's time to man up and go out and play. and not just recreationally, i expect to see you on the tour start of next year.

Yeah but golf sucks and I already said that so why would you expect to see me on the tour?

sucks or not, if it is as easy as you say and doesn't require any athletic skill, then you should go out there, steal all the prize money and retire.

it seems like you could easily put up with it sucking for one year since the winning prizes are multi-millions of dollars in most tournaments.

These guys have been playing their whole lives since they were kids. I havent. Thats a big difference. Golf is like Bowling, Its all about technique. If you work on your technique then you get better and if you practice your technique then you stay good. Now we all know that Bowlers especially arent athletes or are you going to argue that too?

I'm not trying to change the subject. Matter of fact I'm still on the same subject. Just comparing the two sports and how you dont have to be athletic to play them. My brother plays golf and he doesnt have a lick of athletic ability. My uncle plays golf and he is gumpier than hell and doesnt have a lick of athletic ability. So what I'm saying then is that just because you are a great golfer like alot of those guys doesnt make you an athlete. Sorry. Thats just my opinion.
