My accomplishment: 2 years ago last week a Catholic volunteer from South Bend, IN, fresh out of graduating from ND, came to volunteer at the school where I (a huge ND fan) teach in Los Angeles. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, she was even more lovely on the inside. They just don't make those types of girls out here in LaLa Land like they do in the midwest. We've been dating ever since, and next August we'll be getting married in the church she grew up in in South Bend, 2 minutes from campus, and our reception will be on the campus. How a guy like me landed a girl like her is beyond me, and just more proof that the Man above is looking out for us all. God is good indeed... |
