The real story here is that Saban just got some help for a major problem. Last year, Saban handed out hundreds of scholarship offers and had 32 guys accept. The problem is Alabama can only accept 25 per year, not including any early enrolees. So Saban has to come up with creative ways to "lose" not so good scholarship players to have enough space for his new recruits. So while Saban may talk tough about discipline, inwardly he's probably glad some of his players are getting in trouble. |

He said that "Its all of Shula's players that are getting into trouble". But he is the first one to say that blaming Ty for any of ND's problems is ridiculous. He just makes me laugh. He is either talking one minute about how ND is down and will never get back to the elite status and then the next complaining because ND won't schedule Alabama. I made the mistake of asking him why would does he want to play a program that in his opinion is so weak? This set off a sports history lesson/tirade about some NC in the 60s that rightfully belongs to Bama blah blah blah... I sure hope Global Warming kicks in soon so I can move back to Indiana, this SEC is killing me:-) |
