Those that have lost confidence in CW, and those who still believe. Those who blame it on the defense, and those who say ES and the OL are the major problem. CW shouldn't have tried the fake fg, shoulda kicked the fg, shouldn't have had TT attempt the run on the XP. Fact is, you're all right, to some degree. These are troubled times in SB, and there are no quick answers. We'll just have to wait until LOI day to see who is still Irish, and then wait some more until football kicks off next year to see how the team/CW has improved. Can't wait until next fall...... I'll reply in kind though, I think you're pretty correct in your assessment here. I think few have the kind of total faith in Weis that the last 2 years had inspired though. Also, I think those who blame it on the defense are just plain wrong, but that's my perspective I guess. I think the defense did well to stop Navy the times that it did, and really couldn't be expected to do much more against the Nation's top rushing attack. Adjustment perhaps could have been better, but overall I think they played well. As for the TT run, I guess I don't have a problem with it, but I would have preferred it was up the middle with only 1.5 yds to go, instead of outside the tackle, but that was by far NOT the worst call made by Weis that game. | |

I've been waiting 20 years for this. I feel like effing Rudy. Having been to the AFA, and having family in the Air Force, I'm sure my respect for them will be very strong after ND kicks their butts. Go Irish! |
