I got some mistletoe that I intend to strategically place at the lower end of our bed. I just hope I don't end up with the kiss of death.

Don't you love it when people use phrases they don't understand?

For example, my brother in law told his 3-year-old daughter "Under no circumstances do you leave the back yard." Her repsonse: "Don't worry daddy, i won't do any circus dances out of the yard." Ha ha, silly little kid.

But, today, my wife received an e-mail from an adult who used the phrase: "High in sight is 20/20."

Like the term literally. Some people use that without knowing what literally means. "I literally laughed my butt off." No you didn't! You mean you don't really have a butt anymore? Kills me...literally, er, I mean figuratively.

i was in small claims court one day listening to plaintiffs present their case. this one guy must have been really nervous because he kept repeating the phrase "and what not" at the end of nearly every sentence.

i wanted to tell him that is not in fact a legal term.
