Guess the artist - Notre Dame Football Discussion

Ready for a little game... I post some lyrics from a song of any genre and you all guess the artist... whoever gets it right first posts the next set of lyrics and we continue with the guessing... and try not to googe unless your the lyric poster and just want to check if your lyrics are right... otherwise it takes a lot of fun out of it...

Got it? okay I'll start with an easy one from one of my all time favs... who ever gets it right continues the game...
