His analysis is about right. Hard to argue w/ facts. As I mentioned on an earlier thread, he was on THe Herd last week and said the same thing when asked about ND. Cowherd then floated his assertion that ND can't get the tough front 7 guys b/c they're more of the violent, less cerebral type. He theorized that those type players either don't care enough about ND's superior academics or can't qualify for admittance to ND.
I wonder what he would've said about Lou Holtz when he moved a handful of players to different positions (Pritchett & Stams for example) only to win a national championship along w/ solid top 5 rankings from 88 to 93. I believe both Pritchett & Stams were named All-Americans after position change as well, so if Weis & staff need to move an offensive lineman to the defensive side of the ball...so be it.
