what a bunch of idiots

http://www.tulsaworld.com/SportsStor...1_Arkan35557_1

what if mustain had gone to notre dame and started next year and charlie had turned the team into a primary running attack?( of course charlie wouldn't do that because he believes in a good mix ratio, but food for thought)

I can't believe the nerve of these parents when arkansas come out of nowhere, almost won the sec,and had a player second in the heisman. What I could understand is if they had only won 2 or so games and nothing never materialized out of the team, but then nutt would have been fired and this would have been irrelevant anyway.

I've watched several arkansas games this year, but didn't watch the last few leading up to the lsu game.I didn't even know mustain had been pulled until someone here brought it to my attention.

I wonder if mustain's mother is a little preturbed that nutt pulled a turnover prone true freshman quarterback for casey dick and has a little sour grapes over it.Mustain had a good year, but also threw alot of interceptions and there is no way you can convince me if he(mustain)had played in the lsu game that it would have been as close as it was.
I also don't think mustain would have done any better against florida either.
This was a running team with two 1000 yard rushers that was capable of mixing in a decent passing game to keep the defense off guard.

now nutt gets to hear about a book about high school football, but has his name in it about not having integrity when it comes to recruiting.

CW uses the talent he has. If he had coached Mustain and McFadden last season he'd have Mustain handing off the ball to McFadden. But I'd bet Mustain would have been a better freshman QB than he was. IF he wasn't CW would have Dick handing off.

I'd run the ball 50 times in the bowl game if I were Arkansas. You do whatever wins games, and Arkansas has 2 of the best RB's in the country. These kids and there parents should be smacked.

A harsh lesson learned! Kids, the world doesn't revolve around you! In college football you have to earn your spot and the guys your fighting for the spot, don't care if you have 1 or 5 stars behind your name.
