tinman is on a distinguished road

Maybe the up-temp game could have been slowed down or maybe they could have stopped using press defense. That's pretty damn sad.

Well, it does say they emptied the bench, and they were at least just playing their normal strategy. If you're giving up over 100 points to the opposing team's scrubs, I'd say the problem is with your team. So I can't really say I have a problem with them scoring 201 points. If he'd left his starters in for long stretches of the game, I'd feel differently.

I'm angrier about the high school football coach earlier this year who went out of his way to help his running back break the single-game record for individual rushing yards. Dude left his first string the whole game despite the fact that it was clearly already a rout by halftime. Then in the 2nd half was doing things like refusing to return punts, thus ensuring that his running back would have even more yards to run before hitting the end zone. Did some other bush-league stuff too, intentionally humiliated the other team just so his running back could get his name printed in some dusty book somewhere.

It's one thing to break a record through the course of your normal playing style. It's quite another to intentionally alter your playing style to do so.

EDIT: I found the link to the thread that discussed that high school football game, for the newbies on here. Crazy stuff...
High schooler racks up 658 yards
