ND=NC, I completely agree that Pitts has an awesome team this year, and I think they have a real legitimate chance at winning the cup.

That is why hockey is so dang hard because not necessarilly the best team wins the series, a team can hang on and win games unlike other sports.

As for the shots, I have to say that the Pittsburgh rush is truly amazing to watch how they enter the blue line and make crisp passes, and for the most part their scoring chances are really nice. Detroit had some ugly goals last night but that is what you expect when you throw the puck at a goalie 60 times in a game and just crash the net, I think tomorrow's game will be very interesting to say the least..

I may be a big Wings fan, but I am MIGHTY nervous these next 4 days until Nicky Lidstrom has the cup over his head, so I am not taking anything away from the Penguins.

it is turning into a series. granted the wings are the better team but theres something about a bunch of young kids who have that desperation in thier eyes that could scare people

haha, not sure what you are talking about irishmarine, i thougth for once the penguins played like a team that wasn't desperate (unlike games 1 and 2, youth definitely showed). Pitts looked determined, but not desperate.

no, I think last night they played like a team that had nothing to lose and was very controlled, when I think desperate I think a team that tries too hard but ends up falling short (i.e. Malkin).

Last night they were in control but did lose it in the third, DANG IT THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER SCORED WITH 30 SECONDS LEFT, I WANT TO BREAK SOMETHING!!!!

WWB, i dont get you man. you say its not a series but in the next post you say the pens have a legit chance?????? by the way i heard the wings are going to start omar hunter in net tonight
