Exactly. As much as I want a player of the capability of Austin, I also want a player with the capability that is also finding ND a special place in ways Marc Tyler couldn't.

Last thing that I would want to happen, is something similar to the Gerald McCoy debagle of last year. Let's get some more offers out there and get the best available DT while we still can.

Right now I'd settle for my grandmother at defensive tackle.

I grew up in Chicago for 18 years and went to college in the middle of a cornfield in downstate Illinois. I'm better for having spent 5 years outside of the city.

Part of growing up...you adjust.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. Why wait around and hold out just to find out that the DT's that we've been targeting are gonna choose another school. Its frustrates me how they're not taking this more serious. Thats our biggest need and yet we have a limited amount of scholarships out to DT's. Wade, Ian Williams, and Blackwell should've had their offers a long time ago. As soon as Andre Jones committed to UT, I would've started spitting them out. We need DT's !!!!!!
