Thought this was a nice little article.

The one consistent bright spot at ND over the past fifty years has been the philosophy department, which includes some of the most important figures in the discipline, particularly McInerny, MacIntyre, and Finnis. Ameriks' Fate of Autonomy was also a singularly brilliant moment for Kantian philosophers, and the Center for Ethics and Culture is a tremendous asset. But when McInerny dies, it will be a huge loss to the university.
