AZ_Irish is on a distinguished road

I think its imperative that we get a stud safety this year because of all the question marks after this year, 2008. David Bruton is a Sr, Kyle McCarthey is also a Sr (he may have another year of eligibilty though but who knows), the lone Safety we recruited last year will be coming of a major injury, and is Harrison Smith going to be a SS or is he going to grow into LB. I also don't know how the other safeties(Sergio brown...etc....) we recruited are doing. So I would like us to go after DeVonte Holloman! I don't know what the chances of getting him are but he seems to be the best safety on our radar!

Good Point! Adding a safety seems very important.

I'd like to see us get a guy like Ray Ray Armstrong. There will always be a place for athletes. He plays some safety, but to think he'd play there for the Irish is probably no more than a dream. I'm sure John Tenuta would love to have the flexiility of someone with his size and talent. Zibby snuck in as a linebacker type position last year and now we're considering doing the same thing with Harrison Smith. How awsome would it be to have someone with his size lining up at safety.
Never mind. Let's get another stud O-lineman.

The staff has told him QB is not out of the realm of possibility either.

If you are going to gamble on another athletic QB, this would be the year to do it with Clausen and Crist already in the program.

Cleveland Browns

I like Manti Te'o. I think he can really help out our Defense and like another poster said, get a guy from the island, get some island material on this team.
