How do you come up with 8 scholarship backs? I count 5 including Jonas Gray and Cierre (who are not yet on campus). 6 if you include Barry Gallup who recently moved to RB.

A team absolutely needs to average 1 or more RBs per year. Injuries happen, players take time to develop, some prospects never pan out, some transfer, some decide to stop playing. You never know what could take wipe out depth at a position.

It would not surprise me for them to take two RBs this class. then we would have a 1-2-1-2 history.

right on SoCal. Teams will always take at least 1 running back every year

Actually the RB's are for Crist's sake..Dayne Crist that is!! I'm sure he won't mind some additional Cali talent in the backfield with him when he takes over the reigns. And we shouldn't mind either cuz this kid is gonna be sick!! Welcome Mr. Wood!
