I've heard it mentioned in the past as a possibility, so I just thought I would throw it out there again with all the talk of commercial flights. Even if it was, it would probably be possible to find a loop hole for use anyway. Like "donating, or renting" it to the university for a time period, so it would technically be the property of the university during the use of the plane.

| Blue Chip Recruit | That's a good question; I didn't think it was a problem if the coaching staff were using the plane; but I am far from a rules 'expert'. It DEFINITELY WOULD if a recruit were on an alumni plane...unless it was a USC recruit. Then it only would vioalte the NCAA rules if the recruit was receiving a text while flying. Coach using an alumni plane couldn't be worse than Oregon getting brand new uni's from Nike EVERY game!!!! |

| Blue Chip Recruit | I think that a USC recruit could be found on an alumni plane, originating from Medellin, with 2 tons of 'raw' Coke, 20 Crack pipes, $100M in a leather attache, wearing a 'Snoop Dog' pimp suit and the NCAA 'investigation' would come up empty....."we were unable to determine whether the plane was owned or leased by the alumni, and whether the 'contraban' was for sale or personal use. As such, this is not deemed to be an NCAA matter" |

Reports have him visiting J.Brown, M.Forston, and probably more. I'll update my list on the fist page of the tread when I get all the stops he made.
